1. By participating in any competition or giveaway advertised by Smith & Sheth on its social media channels, you confirm that you accept and agree to these competition terms and to receive promotional news from Smith & Sheth.
2. The Promoter of this competition is Smith & Sheth.
3. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. You completely release Facebook and Instagram from all liability associated with this competition.
4. Entry is open only to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or older. Employees of Smith & Sheth (and their immediate families) are ineligible.
5. Entries are limited to one (1) per person/email address.
6. Entrants must successfully complete the social media lead form with their personal details to enter the competition.
7. Entries must be received within the promotional period, any entries received outside the promotion period will not be included in the prize draw.
8. Smith & Sheth takes no responsibility for any inability to enter, complete, continue or conclude the Promotion due to equipment or technical malfunction, inadvertent disconnection, Force Majeure or otherwise.
9. The competition will begin when the competition post has been uploaded to Facebook and Instagram. The competition period will end 31 July 2024.
10. At the end of the competition period Smith & Sheth will select a winner for each competition from Entries received during the competition period.
11. The winner will be drawn via random selection.
12. The prize winner will receive the prize that is advertised on Facebook/Instagram competition post.
13. Smith & Sheth will endeavour to notify the prize winner via email. However, if the winner cannot be reached within five (5) working days of the prize being drawn, we may redraw a new prize winner without liability to any person. Smith & Sheth reserves the right to contact the selected winner by other means.
14. The Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable. No other family members, friends, office associates or any other person will be able to participate on the Winner’s behalf. In the event that the Prize specified in the Competition becomes unavailable for any reason the Promoter may substitute a prize of like or equal value.
15. The prize is for one (1) nights accommodation for two (2) guests (shared) at Porters Boutique Hotel, a Smith & Sheth Heretaunga Studio experience for two (2) and a $150 voucher for Malo Restaurant. All other expenses, including but not limited to; flights or travel to Hawke's Bay, transfers/taxi, food and beverage, personal expenses and additional hotel charges, are the winners responsibility to cover in full.
16. Prize must be redeemed within 12 months of the winner being notified.
17. Smith & Sheth is not responsible for any prize that has been lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way before it reaches a winner and after it has been released from Smith & Sheth's custody and control.
18. The decisions of Smith & Sheth on all matters relating to this competition are final. Smith & Sheth reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a winner's right to redeem the prize in accordance with these terms and conditions.
19. Smith & Sheth reserves the right to amend the prizes offered and these terms and conditions and in its absolute discretion cancel the competition at any time and without prior notice.
20. To the extent permitted by law, Smith & Sheth excludes any liability it may have to you arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Competition.
21. Any personal information collected as part of this Competition will be held by Smith & Sheth in accordance with its obligations under the Privacy Act.
