2025 Smith & Sheth CRU Heretaunga Albariño

It is full and richly textured yet tangy and bright; ripe orchard fruit and citrus meet savoury, nutty tones from lees time. Though a portion of the 2024 was fermented in barrel, the fruit is full of light. Expect a salty lick on the finish, like the rim of a good margarita. Concentrated and intense, this is about as serious as Albariño gets.
