2019 Wairau Sauvignon Blanc

$ 28.00 NZD

Wonderful aromatics of yellow flowers, lime, and a warm summer meadow. Lovely delicious palate brimming with nectarine, fresh lime, and hints of ripe nectarine and gooseberry finishing with a lovely long feel of the stony soils and refreshing acidity.

Sourced from low yielding old vines averaging 25 years in age from the rocky, bony soils around the Renwick township in Marlborough blended with biodynamically grown hillside fruit from the Sam and Mandy Weavers Churton Vineyard.

2018 Heretaunga Chardonnay

$ 40.00 NZD

Vibrant pale straw colour with some green tinges. Fresh and fruit driven, almost Chablis-like in style. Complex and light on its feet. Vibrant acidity balanced by a creamy, lingering texture.

The fruit is sourced from two vineyards in Hawke's Bay, 20-year-old Clone 15 and 95 vines that are dry farmed on a silty loam over gravel with some limestone influence, and old Mendoza vines grown on river terrace soil, light loam over gravel.

Straw colour. Fresh and vibrant with grapefruit, melon and citrus fruit on the nose with complexing nutty, cashew notes. A savoury, lush and full palate with balancing acidity and tension. Immediately appealing as a young wine but with an obvious ability to age for 5+ years.

2018 Omahu Cantera

$ 60.00 NZD

A deep, intense ruby red colour with complex dark red fruits predominant on the nose. A beautiful meld of spicy berry aromas with liquorice, sweet oak and vanilla in the background. The three varieties in this wine complement each other in both aroma and palate. The Cabernet Sauvignon delivers power and structure, the Tempranillo, juiciness and flesh with the Cabernet Franc adding aromatic lift and freshness.

A unique Hawke's Bay blend with the structure that will allow it to age for at least 10 years.

2019 Heretaunga Cabernet Franc

$ 40.00 NZD

The vintage is the third warm vintage in a row for Hawke's Bay, drier than the 2018 vintage, and not quite as warm and dry as the quite sensational 2020 vintage which will probably sit alongside the 2013, 1998 and 1989 vintages as Hawke's Bay's greatest red wine years. 2019 should not be underestimated, especially for reds, and these 2019 wines truly represent our whole philosophy of what great Hawke's Bay wines should be - ripe and truly delicious to drink when released. Rainfall: drier than average, particularly from February to harvest. Growing degree days slightly above the long-term average.
